V842I results in increased Erbb2 (Her2) activity, downstream Mapk pathway activation, and the ability to transform cells in culture (PMID: 23220880), however in another study, V842I results in similar cell proliferation and viability levels as wild-type Erbb2 (Her2), in two different cell lines (PMID: 29533785). |
